FRANKFURT, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index up 91.61 points, or 0.59 percent, to close at 15,701.42 points.
Automotive supplier Continental won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 3.76 percent. Automotive manufacturers Daimler and BMW gained by 3.70 percent and 3.13 percent respectively.
European multinational online food-delivery service Delivery Hero, semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies and pharmaceutical company Merck were the top three losers among the blue chips, by falling 1.83 percent, 0.91 percent and 0.88 percent respectively.
Daimler was the most-traded share with a turnover of 246.79 million euros (290.72 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 2.62 percent to close at 1.645 euros per share on Monday.
